Our rates, departure/arrival times and additional info

NOTE:

Our service to the North Coast Trail runs April 15th to September 30th. ( First and last 2 weeks are weather dependant )

Note
Minimum 4 people

Travel & Departure Times
- No refunds after departure date
- Departure time for the boat from our dock/office at the Quarterdeck Marina in Port Hardy is 7:00am when we have bookings. Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow for loading/parking and questions before boarding the boat.
- Travel time from Port Hardy to Shushartie Bay (east end of trail) is approx. 50-60 minutes.
- Pickup time from Cape Scott parking lot (west end of trail) is 12:30 pm.
- Travel time from the Cape Scott parking lot to Port Hardy is approx. 1.75 hours.
- The amount of time on the trail depends on the hiker and the weather. In dry weather it usually takes 5 days plus 1 if you are going to the lighthouse. In wet weather give yourself an extra day.

Additional Costs
- We try to join smaller groups together to charge the per person rate.
- Parking available at Quarterdeck Marina (our office/boat location)
- Trail fees to B.C. Parks (Must be paid prior to departure. Trail fees can be paid online to BC Parks, or in our office. If paid online, please present valid receipt upon arrival.)
- Trail maps available at our office

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel the water taxi, or shuttle within 7 days of departure date you will be charged 100% of your transportation cost. If you book and don’t show up, you will be charged 100% of your transportation cost. Absolutely No Refunds for the water taxi, or shuttle van after departure.
